Thank you for all that you do in advocating for elders. I really appreciate this blog. I have become increasingly aware of the vultures both when caring for my 94-year old mother and now with myself at 69. I was amazed at the amount of medical supplies billed to medicare, more than Mom could have ever used. Now, the amount of mailings I'm getting about drug coverage and supplemental plans is a huge waste of paper. I am pleased, however, to see blogs such as yours and programs such as the North Oakland Village association.
