Monthly Friday Fun Trips to the “Mall ” and “Lunch and a Movie ” have been added to the Spirit Van Repertoire. We have made several trips to Broadway Plaza and a trip or two to Sun Valley Mall for shopping.Our goal is to assist seniors in getting out and about for fun trips as well as for the more essential trips to the grocery store and the like.

We now have Errand Day in Lafayette (Tuesdays), Orinda (alternate Wednesdays), and Moraga (Thursdays)taking people to Trader Joe ’s, Diablo Foods, Longs Drugs, Ace Hardware, the bank and the post of?ce. And we continue to take seniors to lunch at the Walnut Creek Senior Center, Monday through Friday. We expect to have a second van in the Fall and then we will be able to schedule medical trips
