Low-Income Food Assistance Program

Federal government commodities and other food items are distributed every month to individuals and families. Each household is allowed to receive only one bag per month. In order to receive the commodity portion of the bag, recipients must meet federal income guidelines, i.e. maximum monthly income of $1,164 (one person in household), or $1,561 (two persons in household).
